Eoin Duane is a Partner and runs Insight’s Opportunities Fund strategies. Prior to joining Insight in 2021, Eoin spent 13 years as an investor in public and private technology companies including eight years at Guggenheim Partners and five years at the private equity arm of Elliott Management. Eoin currently sits on the board or oversees Insight’s investments in A Place for Mom, Aptean, Advantive, CivicPlus, Precisely, Rithum and Saks.com.
Eoin sits on the boards of the Irish Repertory Theatre in Chelsea, the Children’s Medical Research Foundation (CMRF), a nonprofit organization focused on pediatric research and the North American Advisory Board of the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business, his alma mater. Eoin graduated from University College Dublin, Ireland with a Bachelor of Commerce and from the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School with a Masters in Finance. Eoin is also a CFA charter holder.
