Trust ’25 Recap: The Latest in AI, Modernization, and Location Intelligence

Authors Photo Chris Hall | June 19, 2025

There’s a special kind of energy that comes from bringing data leaders together with a shared goal: unlocking more value from their data.

At Trust ’25, our virtual Data Integrity Summit, that energy was palpable. Data and analytics professionals from around the world joined us to explore what’s next for trusted data – and how to achieve it. This year, we focused on one powerful idea: when you show your data some love, it returns the favor – with sharper insights, stronger performance, and more confident decisions.

As the keynote speaker, I had the privilege of kicking off the event and setting the tone for Trust ‘25. I shared exciting news about the latest advancements in our Precisely Data Integrity Suite – innovations designed to help businesses like yours accelerate AI, enhance analytics, and scale your overall data-driven transformation.

These capabilities, which enable you to scale data quality for AI, gain visibility across hybrid data landscapes, and embed trusted data into critical business workflows, address a fundamental – and potentially controversial – point:

Your business may not have the data it needs to innovate, differentiate, and grow in today’s fast-paced, AI-driven market.

Trusted data is the prerequisite for success with AI, modernization, and location intelligence – the three top initiatives for data leaders today. We explored each of these throughout our 90-minute, high-impact event.

Below, I’ve recapped some of the highlights from each Spotlight Session. Want the full Trust ‘25 experience? You can watch it on demand. In the meantime, here’s a look at highlights from the event.

Trust ’25:
Now on demand!

Trust ’25 brought together data and analytics leaders from around the globe for an impactful 90-minute virtual experience focused on one thing: helping you unlock more value from your data, so you can love the results.

AI Readiness: Getting Your People, Processes, and Data Ready

AI, of course, is on everyone’s mind. But even as organizations rush to deploy agentic models and advanced automation, the reality is sobering: only 12% of companies say their data is ready for AI.

In our first Spotlight Session, we examined what it means to be truly AI-ready.

David Woods, SVP of Global Services, laid out six common challenges, from fragmented governance to regulatory complexity, and showed how data integrity – accurate, consistent, and contextualized data – is the foundation for overcoming them.

He also explored best practices for scalable AI frameworks, along with culture and change management – something that can’t be overlooked in the process of streamlining the responsible, impactful use of these technologies.

One of the most compelling moments came from our customer Elia – a leading transmission system operator. Precisely CTO, Tendü Yoğurtçu, PhD, sat down with Elia’s Cédric Charlier, Head of Data & Business Intelligence to discuss how the company harnesses AI for everything from document abstraction to predictive maintenance using drones and image recognition. They’ve seen firsthand how critical data governance and quality are to driving outcomes.

A top takeaway? Without trusted data, AI can’t move from pilot to production – let alone scale.

David laid out exactly what a practical blueprint for scalable AI-powered success can look like. If there’s one action item I’d recommend for you after learning from his session, is to take an AI Readiness Assessment.

Our team of Data Strategy Consulting experts will work with you to identify any critical gaps in your strategy, and create a step-by-step, custom roadmap that will get you on the path to success.

Modernization: Unlocking Agility, Speed, and Scale

Modernization: it’s a mission-critical, ongoing journey that comes in many forms.

Whether it’s cloud migration, mainframe modernization, digital transformation, or adopting data mesh and fabric architectures, organizations are reimagining how they deliver data to the business, so they can reduce costs, gain efficiency and flexibility, and scale seamlessly.

However, those opportunities come with unique challenges. We hear about them all the time from organizations across sectors, and I’m constantly inspired by how our customers have been able to overcome those roadblocks to find success in their unique modernization journeys.

By supporting and collaborating with these organizations, we’ve developed some valuable modernization best practices that you can apply to your own initiatives. That’s exactly what Ashwin Ramachandran, SVP of Product Management, explored in our second Spotlight Session of Trust ‘25.

Ashwin dove into the building blocks of modern data ecosystems:

  • Metadata management
  • Data governance
  • Data integration

Specifically, Ashwin discussed how data observability and AI-driven cataloging accelerate progress – and why building trust into your data architecture matters more than ever.

The featured Citizens Bank story brought this to life in a powerful way. Babu Kilaru, Director of Engineering at Citizens Bank, spoke about how their modernization journey started with a bold mission: improve customer experiences by transforming into a digital-first bank.

The challenge? Legacy mainframe systems were slowing down data access and response times. By connecting legacy and cloud applications, the team reduced latency by 50% and ensured continuous data availability.

It’s a remarkable example of how the right data architecture can deliver real business outcomes.

Location Intelligence: Your Key to Smarter Decisions

For our final Spotlight Session of the day, Dan Adams, EVP and GM, Enrich took us into the world of location data – and how it can be the difference between good decisions and great ones.

Whether you’re optimizing deliveries, assessing risk, or selecting your next site, enriched, geospatially-aware data provides the context your analytics and AI models need to perform.

But challenges with location data persist – and that’s a major problem. Inaccurate or inconsistent addresses, low match rates, and missing context can lead to failed deliveries, inefficient marketing campaigns, or even flawed risk models.

Dan summed it up perfectly:When location data is wrong, execution is wrong.”

The good news is that it’s now easier than ever to manage location data and leverage it for better outcomes. Dan outlined Precisely’s framework for turning messy address data into decision-ready insights: Correct. Connect. Analyze.

  • We correct location data by cleaning and validating it to ensure accuracy and consistency across systems.
  • Next, we connect the data to real-world context like property details, demographics, and administrative boundaries.
  • Finally, it’s made actionable and ready to analyze with tools that reveal spatial patterns and trends.

It’s a straightforward, proven method that helps power confident, strategic decisions.

And the DoorDash success story? That stole the show.

Dan sat down with DoorDash’s Xiao Li, VP of Engineering, to find out how the company uses location data to ensure accuracy and efficiency in their deliveries. From apartment complexes to college campuses, their ability to model locations at a granular level is central to their success – helping them boost satisfaction for customers, merchants, and Dashers alike.

It was a masterclass in how location intelligence drives competitive advantage.
