Jane Gilson is Chief Business Officer at Precisely. As CBO, she leads the commercial functions that enable and accelerate growth across the business, including global channels, services, and revenue operations.
Jane has spent more than two decades building commercial engines inside technology businesses: from on-premises to cloud at Microsoft, through hyper-growth at Google, and through an AI-driven transformation at CloudSphere. Throughout her career, she has consistently stepped into businesses at critical inflection points, and aligned strategy, go-to-market execution, and organizational focus to unlock growth.
At Microsoft, Jane held multiple senior leadership roles over thirteen years, culminating as Chief Strategy Officer for all territories outside the U.S. and Canada. She also served as COO and Acting CEO of Microsoft GmbH and as CEO of Microsoft Czech Republic. At Google, she built and led the Emerging Markets commercial engine across Russia, Turkey, Israel, South Africa, and MENA, growing the business by more than 20% year-over-year. As CEO of CloudSphere, she led a post-merger restructuring, repositioned the business from on-premises software to an AI and machine learning-driven platform, and secured funding to support the company’s next phase of growth.
Jane holds a Master of Science in Marketing from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Wisconsin.
