Syncsort, the global leader in Big Iron to Big Data software, today announced the promotion of Kevin Ruane to the new position of Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). As CMO, Kevin will continue reporting to CEO Josh Rogers and leading a global team responsible for demand generation, events, brand, web content, corporate communications, field and product marketing.

Kevin brings more than 15 years of enterprise software experience as well as a proven record of building, leading and executing integrated marketing and communications programs to the CMO role at Syncsort. He has made significant contributions to corporate strategy as well as mergers and acquisitions at publicly and privately-held technology companies. In addition to Syncsort, Kevin has held leadership positions within corporate marketing at NetSuite, NCR and Oracle.
