Service Description – Data Graph (April 17, 2026)
The following is a high-level description of the Data Graph API Services (each a “Service”)—part of the Precisely Data Integrity Suite.
Modifications to this Service Description:
- Orders for Licensed Products and/or Services are governed by the version of this Service Description applicable on the Start Date of the license in an Order.
- The terms of this Service Description may not be modified with respect to the Order to which they apply except by mutual agreement.
- New versions of this Service Description will only apply to subsequent Orders except as set forth below.
Data Graph API Services
The Data Graph API Service allows Precisely Customers to perform declarative queries against certain Precisely Enrich Data resources—each of which is considered a Data Product. Entitlement to the Data Graph API allows a Customer to query any of the following datasets available (each a “Dataset”). A dataset is a subset of a Data Product. Contact your Precisely sales representative for details.

Allotment and Credits Usage:
In the context of the Data Graph API, the following terms have the meanings below regardless of how defined in other governing agreements:
“Allotment” means the number of Credits purchased by Customer.
“Billing Period” means the period set forth in an Order for which an Allotment has been purchased. This will typically be a year period but could be otherwise as mutually agreed.
“Credit” means the number of pre-purchased credits specified in an Order for use by Customer to purchase Record output as described below.
“Customer Data” in the context of the Data Graph API means any data, such as an address record, geographic data, telephone number, individual or business record or user query, or other material submitted by Customer to the Service or provided by Customer to Precisely for the performance of the Service.
“Record” means each individual grouping of associated data elements. For clarity, in a database, a record is the row not the column(s) of individual fields. Examples of a Record include a Building returned by a query. Other examples include an address or a place or a parcel, depending on which API is queried. Multiple Records can be returned in a single query.
Transacting with Credits:
- Once an Allotment of Credits is purchased pursuant to an Order, those Credits can be used to transact in the Data Graph API Service.
- The number of Credits used will be based on the number of Records returned from a Customer query for each Dataset (output-based pricing) using the allocation model in the table above. Credits will be used per Record received regardless of the number of fields returned in the query.
Data Caching and Order Termination
Customer caching of Records and attributes returned by the Data Graph API Service is allowed during the license term in the applicable Order granting entitlement to the service. Upon expiration/termination of the license term, Customer shall delete and/or remove all copies of the Records, Datasets and other Data Products from Customer’s Systems and if requested, certify in writing that it has done so.
Use in Connection with AI Systems
An “AI System” or “AI” means a machine-based system that is designed to operate with varying levels of autonomy and that may exhibit adaptiveness after deployment, and that, for explicit or implicit objectives, infers, from the input it receives, how to generate outputs such as predictions, content, recommendations, or decisions that can influence physical or virtual environments.
To the extent Customer licenses or otherwise obtains Records from the Data Graph Service, such Records data may only be used with AI Systems through prompt engineering or retrieval augmented generation for Customer’s internal business purposes within an internal-only, enterprise-restricted AI environment (herein a “Permitted AI Tool”).
Notwithstanding the foregoing, use of any Permitted AI Tool shall not be employed to commit or permit any act or omission that would impair Precisely’s copyrights or other proprietary rights in the Records, Datasets and other Data Products, and Customer shall not use the Records, Datasets or other Data Products for the purpose of grounding or training any AI System or other artificial intelligence tools, including but not limited to large language models, machine learning algorithms, or similar technologies for any purpose, including to develop, enhance, or otherwise create any substitute or competing products, or otherwise ingest Records, Datasets or other Data Products into training datasets, incorporate into model weights, or otherwise store or process in a manner that enables subsequent use by the AI system beyond the immediate internal purpose.
In addition, Customer shall comply with any confidential information restrictions in agreements between Precisely and a Customer. Any use of the Service outside these limitations is strictly prohibited and shall constitute a material breach of Customer’s agreements with Precisely, and Precisely reserves all rights and remedies available under law or equity.
Connection with Geo Addressing Service
The Data Graph API may be used by Customers to address/access their Allotment of Geo Addressing Transactions for the Address Geocode service/API. A separate Allotment of Transactions is required, and the Data Graph Credits cannot be used when accessing the Address Geocode API via the Data Graph API. Customers that do not currently have an entitlement to Geo Addressing that are seeking to utilize this functionality should contact their Precisely sales representative.
Additional Applicable Terms:
Certain of the products above are configured with a Locate Reporting component (which may or may not be separately called out in an Order).
If additional datasets are added during a Customer’s license term for Data Graph, the Customer’s voluntary use of Credits for such datasets confirms their alignment with the Service Description that contains those new datasets.
